Privacy Policy
Tiny Tavola is designed to work without a separate Tiny Tavola account or advertising profile. This policy explains what information the app processes, where it is stored, and how optional Apple services are used.
Provider and contact
Tiny Tavola is published by Marco Cotugno. For privacy questions or support, contact coticapp@gmail.com.
Information you choose to enter
Depending on the features you use, Tiny Tavola may process child names, birth dates or expected due dates, allergen preferences, weight measurements, weight-reminder preferences, recipe-region preference, favorites, Tried/Loved status, meal-planner data and pantry items. This information is entered by an adult user for personal family organisation.
Local storage and iCloud
Tiny Tavola stores app data on your device. When iCloud is available, supported data such as family profiles, weight history, saved recipes, meal-planner data, pantry data and food progress can synchronize through Apple CloudKit. Selected allergen values are excluded from CloudKit and remain local to each installation. Tiny Tavola does not use a public CloudKit database for family profile data.
Family Space
If Premium Family and Tiny Tavola Family Space are used, supported app data, including weight history, can be placed in an invite-only shared CloudKit space. People you invite may be able to view and update that shared data. Allergen selections themselves are not shared: each Family member must review and set them on their own device. Tiny Tavola may synchronize only a non-specific safety flag so another Family device can warn that allergen filters were configured elsewhere.
Weight and allergen information
Weight history and allergen preferences are optional organisational features. Weight history can synchronize through iCloud and Family Space; selected allergen values stay on the device where they were entered. Tiny Tavola does not use HealthKit, does not calculate growth percentiles, and does not diagnose or assess a child's health. Always review allergen filters separately on each device and continue to check food labels.
Notifications
If you enable weight reminders, Tiny Tavola schedules local notifications on your device. Notification permission is controlled by iOS. Tiny Tavola does not operate a server that sends marketing notifications.
Subscriptions and purchases
Subscriptions and purchase restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit and your Apple Account. Tiny Tavola receives the subscription entitlement needed to unlock features, but it does not receive your full payment-card details.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
Tiny Tavola does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, does not use an advertising identifier, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not sell personal information.
External information sources
Tiny Tavola may link to third-party educational or public-health websites. Opening those links takes you outside Tiny Tavola and the destination website's own privacy practices apply.
Data deletion and retention
You can remove individual profiles, weights and other user-created app data through the available app controls. Deleting the app removes local data, including that installation's allergen selections. Data already synchronized to iCloud, including weight history, may remain in your iCloud account and can be restored by Tiny Tavola. Shared Family Space data may also remain available to invited participants until it is removed from the shared space.
Children's privacy
Tiny Tavola is intended for parents and adult caregivers, not for children to use independently. Information about a child is entered and managed by an adult user. Tiny Tavola does not create a separate account for a child.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Tiny Tavola's features or data practices change. The current version will be available in the app and on this page.
